I first had the pleasure of photographing Michaela’s beautiful family in the Fall of 2023. I can’t remember, since there were a lot of trips into the lake that year, but they may have been the first family to venture down into the dry lake bed at Lake O’Neil with me. Right at the end of our session, the sky noticed how beautiful this little family was, and decided to perform for us, helping me create some of the most beautifully set photos I’ve ever taken. Some of my absolute favorites.
THEN… in the spring of 2023, I was honored to take some updated family photos to announce their pregnancy! hint: it’s a boy!
I love getting to capture all the little pieces of the story one after the other and put them together.
